The Beyond Enemy Lines project and the Centre for Modern Literature and Culture at King’s College London are bringing together a group of prominent international writers to discuss the idea of Europe: past, present, and future.
On 6 November 2019 the writer, philosopher, and activist Srećko Horvat will lead a workshop considering the question: ‘Why – and what – Europe is worth fighting for?’
On 7 November 2019 a number of influential writers will come together to discuss ‘The Idea of Europe’ at a symposium and panel discussion convened in partnership with Granta: the new issue of Granta 149 – Europe: Strangers in the Land will also be launched.
